Carolyn D.
My 84 year old mom and her friend had Thanksgiving Dinner at Prime Catch. Maybe the name should give you a clue that a fish restaurant should not be serving Turkey, They made several comments to their waiter and the hostess as they left that the food was very dry and not good at all and the staff just laughed. I called the manager Sandy and told her what happened and she said my mom should have said something when she was there. I told her that my mom is not the type to complain and make a scene like a lot of older people do. she asked me to have my mom call her and my mom did. She was not very apologetic and said the next time you come in you need to say something before you leave. My mom said there will not be a next time. It wasn't like we were asking for a refund when I called. I just wanted to let them know that their patrons were not happy. She could have apologized to my mom and offered a free dinner or dessert or a drink to entice the to come back but she seemed to care less. It is just sad when a manager cannot be kind to the elderly. My mom has her wits about her and has been in the restaurant business all her life so she knows what good food especially turkey on Thanksgivng is suppose to taste like. Sorry for you Sandy and your policy of talking to a manager before you leave. Your staff should have been smart enough to pick up the cues they were giving when they said they did not want to take the leftovers home but wished they had a dog to give it to.
